We know -- it's been a whole week without a cuteness fix. Thankfully, Veoh is back with its weekly installation of Fuzzy Friday, in which we bring the adorableness to your very computer screen. Be prepared for a great deal of "oohing" and "aahing" at these painfully cute animal-clips.
The dog knows how to party.
We all saw it coming.
Okay, so Domo's not technically an animal. But it's still kind of cute.
Apparently that kitten thinks he can do a better job than the mechanic.

Today, Veoh takes a break from viral videos to introduce its viewers to an anime you may or may have heard of -- Hunter X Hunter. This wildly popular Japanese anime was written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi, the genius behind such poular 90s animes as Yu Yu Hakusho and Level E. He's also married to Naoko Takeuchi, the author of Sailor Moon, which we heartily approve of.
Hunter X Hunter follows the adventures of a young boy named Gon, and his journey to follow in the footsteps of his absentee father, Ging. On his way, he meets a variety of interesting characters -- such as the vengeful Kurapica, the only surviving member of the persecuted Kurta clan; the fierce Killua, the prodigal son of a family of infamous assassins; and the comical Leorio, a would-be doctor who dreams of becoming rich. With his newfound friends, Gon braves the fiercely competitive Hunter Exams, in the hopes that he may one day be reunited with his legendary Hunter father.
What's a Hunter, you ask? We'd tell you, but we think the prologue sums it up well:
"Fearsome monsters, exotic creatures, vast riches, hidden treasures, evil enclaves, unexplored lands -- the word unknown holds magic, and some incredible people are drawn to that magic. They are known as Hunters."
Pretty badass, huh? But the competition to obtain a bona fide Hunter's license is fierce and often fatal, and even if Gon does get ahold of one, there's still the daunting task of discovering his father's identity, developing his Hunter skills, and facing the many enemies he's accrued along the way. All of which makes for a fast-paced, action-packed anime that's guaranteed to please any shounen fan.
The series initially aired in 1999, and enjoyed a great deal of success in Japan and abroad. The 62-episode run, however, couldn't cover all the events in the manga series. As a result, a series of three OVAs (original video animations) were released in 2002, 2003, and 2004, respectively, covering events that occurred subsequent to the end of the original anime series. The franchise also inspired numerous video game adaptations, a trading card game, collectable action figures, and even a couple of theatrcial musicals.
Beginning on October 2, 2011 a new Hunter x Hunter adaptation aired on Nippon Television. This anime retells the story from the beginning of the series, in an attempt to adapt it more accurately. We still like the original opening song, though:

We at Veoh love anime, but at times it's baffling. Between the shoddy translations, obscure cultural references, and just plain nonsense, sometimes anime overshoot the point of "endearingly quirky" and land in the zone of "absurdly over-the-top madness." Which is good for us, because it makes for some incredibly funny videos.
Today, Veoh presents you with a collection of some of the more outrageous translation errors, dub jobs, and unexpected lines in anime.
Skip to about 1:00 in, and enjoy.
You'll watch this video… and like it!
We can only assume that one Japanese-to-English translator had himself a jolly good laugh.
No, young blue-haired boy. A real man doesn't die, even if he is killed.
