Then you watch her video for “Criminal” and you realize that this tiny woman is actually a sexy mix of the underage girl next door, Tori Amos, and the crazy ex-girlfriend who tried to stab you in your sleep. “Oh help me but don’t tell me to deny it….”
#8: Lady Gaga
Who is Lady Gaga, you ask? Well, Ms. Gaga is the world’s reigning catholic-school-girl-turned-electronica-pop-goddess and she’s the brains behind the chart-topper, “Poker Face.” When she’s not tearing up the stage in her crazy costumes she’s busy building up a reputation for public nakedness. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.
#7: Carrie Underwood
Never before have we seen such a sweet, all-american girl rock a voice like Carrie’s. She lights up the screen with her gorgeous face and sexy gams, but she’s still the kind of woman you’d take home to Mom. (And don’t be fooled: In case you don’t think she’s got any crazy in her, just watch her destroy a poor Chevy with a baseball bat in “Before He Cheats.”)
#6: Leona Lewis
This British import may have taken the music world by storm with her hit, “Bleeding Love,” but Leona took us by storm with her luscious lips and bedroom eyes. Not only does she sing like an angel (a gorgeous angel), but she looks just as good without makeup as she does when she’s glammed out.

Okay, so she’s almost old enough to be a grandmother now, but Joan Jett makes it to our list because she’s just so damn sexy in her video for “Backlash.” How many women can deliver both a wicked “come hither” look AND shred a guitar like nobody’s business? Plus the little glance she gives at minute 00:39 is enough to make you want to die and come back as a Les Paul.
#4: Beyonce
Beyonce, Beyonce, Beyonce. She’s everywhere these days… including our Top 10 list. Sure, she’s a little overexposed, but why would you complain when she turns out slinky little numbers like “Freakum Dress?” We think every video of Beyonce’s features a piping-hot helping of her delicious body, but our favorite is her flirty and feline “Kitty Kat.“ Meow!
#3: Natalie Imbruglia
We love the Aussies! They brought us AC|DC, Crocodile Dundee, and the stunningly gorgeous Natalie Imbruglia. When we first heard her 1997 international hit, “Torn,” we really liked the song - beautiful and angry. Then we watched the video and realized that Ms. Imbruglia herself is beautiful and angry too… in a really good way.
#2: Britney Spears
Addicted? Check. Bi-polar? Check. Prone to head-shaving? Check. We don’t care! We still loves us some Britney! Despite her notoriously crazy personal life, Britney always delivers white-hot videos like “I’m a Slave 4 U” and “Gimme More.” Still not convinced? Then we challenge you to check out her steamy sauna scenes in “Womanizer.” Yeah, we knew you’d come around.
#1: Shakira
Hips don’t lie, which is why Shakira is at the very top of our list of music video vixens. No matter what the song, Shakira always brings a level of primal sex appeal to her videos, complete with skimpy clothes and mind-blowing belly dances. All you have to do is watch her video for “La Tortura” (is it even legal to have a body like that?) and you’ll understand why Shakira is #1 in our book.
